Why should I choose a Desktop (PC) over a Laptop?
If you want a computer with a lot of versatility, a Desktop PC is for you. Desktops can store huge files and run games with dedicated high-quality graphics easily. Desktops can also be customized to fit your needs. You can literally change every part of a desktop to fit your needs: CPU, GPU, RAM, Storage Drives, Case, Power Supply, etc. Laptops, although mobile, do not allow for as much customization and are not as upgradable. A desktop computer can consistently perform and last a very long time, especially when being well maintained.
When will I receive my PC?
As soon as payment is received in full, the procurement of your specific parts begins. This process can take anywhere from 1 - 14 days (if some parts need to be delivered). Upon acquiring all parts, typical build, test, and update time takes up to 72 hours.
How can I pay for my PC?
Halliman PC Company accepts Cash, Checks, Zelle, and Venmo for in-person/local purchases. For online purchases, you can checkout using PayPal or our online checkout.
All online transactions include an 10% processing fee labeled as "sales tax."
Is financing available?
Financing is available via PayPal Credit, SplitIt, and Affirm! Choose the option that works best for you. (SplitIt and Affirm can be selected at "3 - Payment" section of the checkout process).
Halliman PC Company is in no way associated with PayPal, SplitIt, or Affirm, but we do recommend them as a legitimate option for financing your purchase. Approval is subject to a credit check and there is no promise that you will be approved.

How is the "sales tax" calculated at checkout?
Halliman PC Company prides itself on being 100% transparent and upfront with clients. The sales tax you see in your cart at checkout is not the traditional sales tax. Due to being an upstart small business, all online transactions have a 10% processing fee.
The price you see listed for the computer you purchase and all of its parts already includes labor fees and sales tax paid for each part.
If you are located in Chicago or a nearby suburb, please contact me before making your online purchase. If you are using Affirm, PayPal Credit, or SplitIt, this 10% processing fee is non-avoidable.
I need my computer shipped, how does that process work?
Halliman PC Company offers nationwide shipping via UPS or FedEx! There is a set price for shipping and that price includes handling, packing supplies, and shipping insurance to make sure your PC gets to you in perfect working condition.
Local pickup is also offered as well as dropoff/setup for a fee.
Is my computer under warranty?
Every computer from Halliman PC Company comes with a 12-month labor warranty. The parts within the computer come with their own manufacturer’s warranty and some extended warranties can be purchased. This Warranty does not cover damage or defects that include but are not limited to, normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, problems with electrical power, or failure to perform preventive maintenance (ex: dust accumulation). This Warranty offers free technical service for all hardware components installed in the PC by Halliman PC Company and does not cover software or any additional parts. In the event that the client fails to follow the instructions resulting in damage to the components, Halliman PC Company is not obligated to fulfill this Warranty. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
